A Word From The Author
I am Alphonsine, a mother of two daughters and an avid traveler. My journey began during the pandemic, when many around me relocated to Portugal, hoping to pave a new path while working online.
The inspiration for writing about the country came to me after they hit drawbacks that could have been avoided had they had a roadmap on how to navigate their new lives, something I personally wished to have had when I moved to the US.
After I published my book about Portugal, many readers reached out, asking if I could write about other countries, hence giving birth to the series “Starting a New Life.
